Photoshop Artist in Action: Tim Grey’s “Prayer Sticks”

Video2Brain – Photoshop Artist in Action: Tim Grey’s “Prayer Sticks”
In this course you’ll see how Tim Grey created one of his favorite images, an interpretation of a photograph of Japanese prayer sticks. The contents of this

course include:

Getting Started
In this chapter we’ll look at the image that will be the subject of this photo project, review some basic information, and get started with some simple adjustments.
Initial Adjustments
This chapter will focus on the basic adjustments we will apply to our image as we get started realizing a creative vision. These include converting to black-and-white, adding a color tint, and enhancing contrast with a Curves adjustment.
Cleaning Up the Image
In this chapter we’ll turn our attention to cleaning up some of the blemishes and distractions in our photo.
Finishing the Image
In this chapter we’ll finalize the image and experiment with creating a variation that looks more like a painting.
The lessons are wrapped in a feature-rich interface that lets you jump to any topic and bookmark individual sections for later review. Full-Screen mode provides a hi-def, immersive experience, and Watch-and-Work mode shrinks the video into a small window so you can play the videos alongside your application. Also included are exercise files that give you an easy way to try out the techniques you learn.
